Over the past few months, it has become clear that the focus of chattlivemusic.com needs a major change. While we have a handful of local artists submitting show dates to post on the site, it simply doesn't make sense to continue with this focus. Our local artists have enough to do already, juggling a day job, rehearsals, performances. They need to promote their shows on sites that are visited most. That said, we now encourage our members and guests to visit Chattanooga Has Fun's Events page to find upcoming shows. Artists, submit your events here and they'll show up not only on that site, but also on the Chattanooga Pulse website.
That said, chattlivemusic.com will be changing its main focus to hosting live music performances, both audio and video. The gallery and forum will remain on the site. Please continue to submit your photos and any live recordings you may have. We'll be making some changes to the site layout to better accommodate this. We welcome your feedback and appreciate your patience during this transition.
On a personal note, I appreciate everyone who has visited and given me feedback about the site since we've launched. I have a day job and I want the small amount of time I have to devote to this site to result in something unique, meaningful, and helpful for local artists. I'll continue to look for the guidance and support of guests, members, and local artists in helping me achieve this goal.
